Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie

Pecan Pie 2


1/4 cup of melted butter or margarine

1 cup of granulated sugar

1/2 cup of all purpose flour

2 eggs

1 cup of chocolate chips (of your choice)

1 cup of pecan pieces

1 cup of pecan halves for decoration (optional)

1 – 9″ deep dish frozen pastry shell (or homemade)



Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Total baking time 40 minutes.

In a bowl, combine the melted butter, sugar, flour and eggs; stir until moistened.

Stir in the chocolate chips and the pecan pieces.

Spoon mixture into uncooked pie shell.  Decorate the top of the pie with whole pecan halves

Bake – during the last 3-4 minutes take the pie out and brush the pecans halves with a little melted butter and finish baking.
